Taylor S. Cumming, my pen-name, is a survivor, nomad, and storyteller who has turned a life of profound hardship into a journey of radical resilience. Born in Bozeman, Montana, Taylor grew up with the horizon always in sight as a Navy brat, traveling the country with a single mother.

Life later presented a series of harrowing trials: a grueling battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Burkitt Lymphoma, the devastating loss of his mother in 2022, and a subsequent medical crisis that resulted in partial foot amputation and emergency open-chest surgery. After losing everything and facing homelessness, Taylor chose to rebuild a life that looks different but feels freer. Accompanied by Nala, a loyal ESA dog, Taylor now lives and travels full-time in a motorhome, documenting the raw, unfiltered reality of healing and the beauty of the American landscape on social media.
